Embonas is one of the most picturesque and traditional villages of Rhodes, built at the foot of Mount Attavyros, the highest mountain on the island. It is located at an altitude of approximately 650 meters and is approximately 52 kilometers from the city of Rhodes. Its mountainous character and unique natural beauty make Embonas a special destination, away from the crowds of the coastal areas.

Embonas has been famous for decades for its viticultural tradition. The temperate climate of the region, with mild temperatures, dry summers and the coolness of Mount Attavyros, creates ideal conditions for the cultivation of grapes. The vineyards extend on mountain slopes and are cultivated mainly with traditional methods, often even by hand.
